Vinyls
If you think vinyls look cheap, think again!
Styles have come a long way in the last few years, so has the quality and many have slip-resistant surfaces
Designs include amazingly realistic woods and tiles as well as floors to go in the most hi-tech kitchens and bathrooms – without breaking the bank.
We have the expertise to prepare your floor as well as fit the vinyl. Whether it is uneven or old materials need removing, we know what to do!
Woods and Laminates
There is a mind-boggling array of these on the market and some products seem to promise a lot more than they deliver.
WCF offers a range of good quality materials designed to last, from solid and engineered woods to really tough laminates.
Most (but not all) of our customers ask us to arrange installation and we work with local craftsmen to ensure you have a beautifully finished floor.
Whether it’s chic or antique, we have everything to help you chose the look you want.
Natural Floorings
Materials like sisal, seagrass coir and jute can look fabulous in all sorts of houses from the very old to the very new, often bridging the gap between contemporary and traditional furnishings.
Not only do we deal with most of the major players like Crucial Trading, Alternative Flooring and Kersaint Cobb, we have what matters most - the specialist knowledge to install their products.
Naturals are often used for rugs, especially on wood or stone floors. These are usually made to measure so you get the size you want and there is a wonderful choice of borders.
Karndean, Amtico and Marmoleum
We have been offering these sorts of products for many years and the choice just keeps on growing!
They give you the opportunity to create something unique and special to suit your home. It doesn’t have to be complicated, but you can find a huge choice of borders and other features to produce a really stylish floor.
Most of the materials are man-made, the exception being Marmoleum which comes from natural products like limestone and linseed oil. As well as being environmentally friendly, it is very tough and very smart.
Commercial floorings
This is a specialist business and we have the expertise and experience.
There are carpets and tiles, of course, but WCF also supplies and fits safety floorings like Altro and Polysafe.
Projects include schools, offices and residential homes, as well as the leisure and construction industries. We are approved contractors to a number of regular clients and work in both the private and public sectors.
